The Hotel:
The ICON Wipton, a four-star hotel is located in an elegant, six-storey, late 19th century building. The hotel is located in the quiet and very charming Salamanca district. In addition to the characterful building, the unique rooms are particularly convincing with their combination of harmonious furnishings and decoration. Upon entering the Hotellobby you will feel like you are in an English pub with a colonial ambience.

The Location:
The hotel is located in the Salamanca district, known for its many galleries, antique shops and boutiques, but you will also find very nice cafés and restaurants. Many attractions such as the Retiro Park, the Prado Museum, the National Library and the Archeological Museum are within walking distance.

The Rooms:
The 61 rooms and junior suites are decorated with modern furniture, beautiful wooden floors and soothing colours. The rooms under the roof are particularly recommended. The sloping roof has been beautifully accentuated with exposed wooden beams and colours. If a balcony is more important to you than a cosy sloping roof, I recommend the superior rooms.

The Restaurant and Bars:
The hotel’s own restaurant Captain offers modern Mediterranean cuisine with Asian and Latin American influences.
