The Farmacia Deleuze Isasi opened in 1780 – the time of Charles III, when men of science were mixing their herbs and ointments in back room. Today, it is still fully functioning and has preserved the original Baroque interior decoration with grand chandeliers and painted ceilings. The traditional medicine jars from the Real Fabrica del Buen Retiro are an eye-catcher.
