Coffee and Kicks is an attempt by the owner and barista Guillermo Lasalle to combine his two favourite things: coffee and sneakers. The coffee is very conveniently located in a relatively quiet street a stone’s throw away from the Gran Via. Funky footwear is the main decoration here and coupled with gorgeous tiles and red brick walls Coffee and Kicks makes for the perfect relaxing hangout. The coffee comes from local coffee pioneers Toma Café who have supported Guillermo to open his coffe. Next to the classic espresso-based drinks he also offers filter coffees and a few selected cakes and cookies. You should try the ‘Tostada con tomate’ breakfast.
