Casa de Campo
With more than 1,722 hectares this former royal hunting estate is today the biggest and most important public park in Madrid. The park is connected to the Parque del Oeste with the TelefĂ©rico. Declared as royal forest (‘Bosque Real’) this park the hunting ground for the royal family and later farmland. On the 1st May 1931, after the proclamation of the Second Republic the stated donated the park to the people of Madrid and now families spend their weekends here.
